Orwel, operated by Hyper Digital LLC, explains in this policy what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights. Orwel is a user-intelligence and product-analytics platform that helps companies understand their visitors' behavior and identify commercial opportunities.
Data we collect
We collect: (a) account data such as name, email and company; (b) usage and analytics data generated when you install the Orwel SDK on your site or application — pages visited, events, sessions, device, referrer and engagement metrics for your visitors; and (c) visitor and lead identification data that you provide or that your visitors submit through forms and conversions.
How we use data
We use data to operate and maintain the service, generate analytics and intelligence reports, identify and qualify leads with AI-assisted analysis, communicate with you, prevent fraud and improve the product. We act as a data processor with respect to the data you collect from your own visitors. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Meta Ads integration
When you connect your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad account, Orwel uses the Meta Marketing
API with read-only access (the ads_read permission) to read
performance metrics for your campaigns: campaign name, status, objective, budget, impressions,
clicks, spend and conversions. We use that data only inside your own workspace, to attribute
the leads Orwel already tracks on your website to the campaign that produced them and to
compute cost per qualified lead.
Orwel does not create, edit, pause or publish ads on your behalf, and does not send your visitors' personal data or conversion events to Meta. Access is granted through Facebook Login for Business and is limited to the ad accounts you explicitly select; you can revoke it at any time by disconnecting the integration in Orwel or from your business portfolio settings in Meta. Access tokens are stored encrypted. We never share one customer's data with another.
Cookies and pixels on our own site
On our public website (orwel.io) we use the Meta pixel and our own SDK to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. This is independent of the Meta Ads integration described above and does not affect your visitors' data inside your workspace. You can block it with your browser settings or a tracker blocker.
Retention and security
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service and to comply with legal obligations. We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect it, including encryption in transit and access controls.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to its processing. See our data deletion page for the procedure.
