Who these pages are for
They are for small teams, solo developers and vibe coders who ship a product and want to know what people do with it. If you are choosing between a broad analytics suite and something narrower, or you are paying for a tool you mostly use for one report, these pages help you decide.
How we write them
Every comparison follows the same rules:
- Competitor facts come only from the competitor's official site, mostly its pricing and product pages.
- Each page says when we last checked those pages and links to the competitor's pricing page, so you can confirm the numbers yourself.
- We say plainly what Orwel does not have. Orwel has no session replay, heatmaps, A/B testing or feature flags, it is not open source and it does not identify anonymous visitors by IP.
- If a vendor's number is unclear, we describe it instead of guessing.
The comparisons
- Google Analytics alternative: page and session reporting versus feature adoption and leads.
- PostHog alternative: an all-in-one suite versus a narrower tool with flat pricing.
- Mixpanel alternative: event analytics priced by volume versus one plan.
- Hotjar alternative: heatmaps and recordings versus form and funnel data.
- Amplitude alternative: an enterprise platform versus a tool for small teams.
- PostHog vs Mixpanel: a neutral look at two popular choices.
Orwel's own price is on the pricing page.
